How do i enable my new wifi card (plugged in via PCI to a desktop)?
My new wifi card keeps telling me that i need to enable it but it always comes up with an error message. Its almost like to seems to think its on a laptop and it has the wifi switch off or something. Its a EDUP wifi PCI card i got of ebay
You needed to install the software first. if you didnt, go to device manager and uninstall it. Then you install the monitor software. Let the CD run. It will tell you when to turn the machine off and put in the card or will finish installing and you do it manually. After you put the card in and reboot the found new hardware wizard will come up. Then you install the driver. You reboot again. Now you can configure the card in the monitor software.
