What accessories do i need to setup a 2-computer home network?
We have 2 PC at home which i want to share my DSL account between.
My modem is a DLink DSL-2500U with just 1 Lan port, and both of the PC's have Gigabit Lan.
Please mention what extra stuff should i buy (any switch, hub, cables)?

Found the answer myself. No need to reply anymore.
Good chance the DLink you have is already setup for this(DHCP). You need a switch like this one..

Then you need an ethernet cable going from the DLink to any port on the Switch, then plug in ethernet cables from the Switch to the PCs. It should just work like that, plug and play pretty much. Unless for some reason your DLink isn't setup for DHCP, which is probably is by default I imagine. And your PCs also need to be setup for DHCP, they are by default too. Just plug everything in and if it works, perfect, if not, post another question if you don't know how to check for DHCP.
D-Link DIR-655 Extreme N Gigabit Wireless
I replaced my DIR 615 with this DIR - 655 Gigabit router. i used to be having bother streaming HD movies/files from my media server through wireless in conjunction with the Wireless bridge (D-Link DAP-1522) and alternative N adapters. to mend the instability problems before replacing the DIR-615 with the 655 I attached a additional stable powerline network adapter (WD Livewire) to the router. This setup worked nice with the WD Live and media players for 720P HD files however not with the 1080p files. The Gigabit LAN affiliation on the DIR-655 fastened that. FYI the DIR-615 s LAN is merely 10/100 Mbps like all non gigabit routers. The max for the Livewire is two hundred Mbps.
1080p isn't any downside with the D-Link DIR-655 and therefore the WD Livewire. They work stunning along.
"But wait! My issues with streaming HD to Wi-fi laptops were fastened too. My HP HD7 laptop played wonderful with its 17" screen. The DAP-1522 still has choppiness with streaming to those same laptops. The DIR-655 was supposed combine well with the DAP-1522, however it does not. which may be a testament to the DAP-1522 additional thus to the DIR-655. perhaps i am going to get rid of the DAP-1522.
Also, I couldn't get the USB shareport to figure well with my network printer. perpetually prints solely the page. If anyone is aware of the way to fix this, let me understand.
