XBOX LIVE: Make D-Link DWL-120+ wireless adapter compatible with xbox 360?
Hi, I was wondering if someone could tell me how to make a D-Link DWL-120+ Enhanced 2.4 GHz Wireless USB Adapter work with my xbox 360?
I'm just trying to get rid of my ethernet cable and be able to connect to xbox live without having to buy the $100 one thats made for it.

Simple answer....You don't. If it does not plug right in an work then it will NOT work ever.
Longer answer--- I will tell you what I do know of wireless adapters for the Xbox. Around 90% of all wireless adapters will NOT work on the Xbox. This is due to the fact that they are meant for a computer where you can install additional drivers to allow them to work. However the xbox will not allow you to install that drivers and thus the wireless adapter will not work. Also after the 90% that will not work there is around another 8% that even if you do manage to get it to work with the console the device will be detected and you will be banned from xbox live. So if you are willing to try out that maybe 2% chance that it will work and you will not be banned feel free to try it otherwise I would just go buy the official adapter. Note that these are not actual stats according to any online study they are simply stats based on reports and my own experiences as well as others.
